LET’S BUILD THEM A PLAYGROUND!

Bridgeport Animal Shelter has NO OFF LEASH SPACE for the dogs in their care. And NOT MUCH STAFF TO WALK THEM. Sadly, these dogs spend all their time IN KENNELS.

There is HOPE. The shelter plans on building 3 large outdoor play areas. At capacity, which they are now, they house over 35 dogs. Those 35 dogs desperately need exercise and mental stimulation. Being in a kennel almost the entire day takes its toll, causing depression and anxiety. Many go kennel crazy. When potential adopters visit, the dogs don't show as well as they could. Each is so deserving of a home - let's help get them there!

This is a big project and ACO Wallace and her team have done an outstanding job raising a chunk of the funds so far.

THEY ARE ALMOST THERE … a few thousand more and the dogs will have the outdoor time they desperately need! Let's help them raise the rest so they can break ground and get the pups their playground before winter!
