Let’s Build St. Joseph’s church

Dear, Brothers/Sisters in Christ,

The mission of St. Joseph Coptic Orthodox Church is to be a spirit-filled church worshiping God in spirit and in truth, winning people of all nations to the Holy Trinity and training them become true disciples of Jesus Christ and serving others through the Holy Sacraments of the church.

After almost 2 years of renting a space to pray, God Almighty filled us with the desire to respond to his call to build a house for Him to dwell in forever.

"See now I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains." (2 Samuel 7:2)

A church building is not just brick and stone, but love, compassion, and understanding among all people. Today, we seek to build a new church on a piece of land in the heart of the areas our church serves, Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas and Manassas Park. Our desire is to build a permanent alter dedicated to liturgical services, praise, and worship. In our ongoing desire to be responsible stewards, it is our fervent hope that God, who have begun this Good work in us, will bring it to fulfillment in Jesus Christ, our lord.
