Let The Tides Take Us

Hello everyone!

We are a group of Lasalle College of the Arts final-year students, in midst of producing our thesis film titled "Let The Tides Take Us".

We have created this page to share our journey so do join us in making this film a reality!

Synopsis:

After losing her son in a boat accident 10 years ago, Shu Wang is still in pursuit of finding his whereabouts, when she crosses path with a mysterious man, Tim.

As Shu Wang embarks on a journey to seek the truth, Tim seems to be following her under the shadows. What does Tim wants? And will Shu Wang eventually find what she’s looking for?

This thesis film has been in pre-productions since July 2022 and it is slated to start production in January 2023.

Dealing with trauma and loss of a loved one is something that many can associate with. Through this film, we hope to instill the same empathy in the audience and hope that they can take comfort in knowing that they are not alone in feeling this way. Time might not take away the pain, but we’ll learn to live with the pain, to honor them and do things in their memory.
