Lerato Monchusi, Face of Miss Teen 2017 is to represent South Africa at the International Little Miss & Miss Eurasia 2018.
Our Little Pricess is a 9 year old girl born and raised from rural village of Camden in Kuruman. Kuruman is a small town in the Karoo District of South Africa.
Lerato is Grade 4 learner at Segonyana Primary School in Mothibistad in kuruman. Raised by a single supportive and hard working mother with her younger brother after the passing on of her father due to Cancer, Lerato has at a very young age realised her purpose to help others.
A very active young girl who has an enormous amount of talent and energy, who has dreams to inspire children from rural areas that their dreams are possible and to continue believing in themselves. Her aspirations are to become a Doctor when she grows up because she wants to help those sick with Cancer.
Lerato’s Journey in beauty pageants started in 2016 when she entered a local beauty pageant called Little Miss Kuruman, a beauty pageant founded by the former Miss South Africa National 2016, Ms Nthabiseng Kgoronyane. She further continued to participate in a number of pageants and won the Face of Miss Teen South Africa 2017 organised by Pageants SA.
By holding this title Lerato is expected to participate in the international pageant called Little Miss & Miss Eurasia (Universal) 2018 in Georgia, Tbilisi.

International Children's Contest-Festival of Beauty, Fashion and Talent - This activity is of high artistic level, which for 28 years conducted in different countries: Russia, South Africa, Armenia, Iraq, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, Kazakhstan, Spain.
The competition is a wonderful opportunity to present the culture and traditions of their peoples and the establishment of friendly relations between children of different nations. The purpose of the contest - to unite talented children from different countries near and far abroad, demonstrating the creative achievements of participants, search talent, raising the skill and experience exchange, promotion of national culture. represents peace, beauty and friendship, getting acquainted to the most wonderful traditions of different countries and nations of the World.
The main task of the festival is to teach children kindness and compassion, help to discover their best qualities and build international relations.
Lerato is mentored by Nthabiseng Kgoronyane who is the title holder of Ms South Africa National 2016, 200 Young South African 2017 and founder of charity organization Nthabiseng Kgoronyane Foundation, Deputy Chairperson of Golden Hearts Foundation. She mentors young children and women in beauty pageants and Charity work.
