Legends is an open class drum and bugle corps that has place top 5 in open class finals since 2015, and earned a silver medal last year. I marched in 2017, when we received a bronze medal, and I’ve been contracted for the 2020 season. Over the summer we will be rehearsing almost everyday from June 7th until August 8th spanning about 63 days, with performances beginning in July. Throughout July and the beginning of August, we will be traveling throughout the Midwest and we will end our tour in downtown Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium for World Championships.

I personally have marched colorguard since the winter of 2013 with Beech Grove High School until I graduated in 2018. I marched 5 fall seasons and 6 winter seasons in that time period and became a section leader in the latter portion of my high school career. I am currently attending Indiana State University for Music Education and believe that drum corps is an opportunity to learn more about the field that I will one day be in as well as an opportunity to meet others who will be my colleagues in the future.

This activity does however have a hefty financial obligation that is necessary for transportation, housing, equipment, food, and other expenses throughout the summer. That is where help is greatly appreciated; whether it is a share or a donation, any little bit helps. Thank you
