Lead Me to LeadAmerica

Hello,

Recently, I have been accepted into the summer program of my dreams. When I opened LeadAmerica's letter, I could not have been happier. However, when I saw what it would take financially to get me there my hopes dies away. That didn't stop me though. I got in contact with LeadAmerica, and they encouraged me to raise money for my cause. As you can probably guess, I took their advice.

I bet you're wondering what this grand program is that I keep talking about. Well, LeadAmerica sponsors college-accredited invitational leadership conferences for our world’s most promising and outstanding middle and high school students. Top students from across the United States and the world are invited to participate. It is a life changing experience to help me develop important leadership skills that will assist me in high school, college and beyond. Through brie?ngs and discussions with national and international leaders, I will learn ?rsthand the complexities of decision making in the business and medical careers. In recent years, students have met with global leaders including the secretary of education and the President of the United States. Seems too good to be true, right? It is all any aspiring student could hope for.

Speaking of aspiring students, I can imagine you've got a bit of curiosity as to who I am. Besides being enrolled in a Visual Performing Arts program and professional dance program, I spend the main of my time pursuing academics and staying active in the community. Although that may sound boring to some, I find my busy life fulfilling. I actively volunteer in the Center for Building Hope, Tidewells Hospice Center, the Booker High School's library, along with other community and non-profit events. As far as school goes, I am enrolled as a sophomore at my high school as well as being dual-enrolled in a nearby college. If all goes as planned, I will be pursuing a medical career in the near future.

As the saying goes, every little bit helps. And it really does. Every donations is a huge leap towards this dream I have. I know that with a little help, my dreams, as well as yours, can and will come true.
