Transforming animal care with laser therapy

Throughout the years, we’ve rescued many tragic cases that seemed beyond recovery. One way we were able to achieve remarkable results with them is through laser therapy.

Laser therapy has proven to be extremely effective for even the most hopeless cases. Bria had multiple pelvic fractures, but walked again after 10 laser therapy sessions. Tinkerbelle, whose spine was nearly split by an axe, recovered after 20 sessions. Shaun, who’s currently going through a health crisis, has improved significantly after only 3 sessions.

But our dependence on Animal Wellness (our vet clinic) comes with challenges and isn’t sustainable in the long run. Laser treatment for one dog normally costs between $175 to $350, and going back and forth daily isn’t feasible. We’re stretched thin, both financially and logistically.

This means we’re forced to make heartbreaking choices on whom to treat. Aside from the critical cases that we often post about, around 30 other dogs would benefit from laser therapy, such as those with arthritis and liver problems.

Why we need our own laser therapy machine

• Immediate care: Our rescues won’t have to wait until we raise funds for their treatment. Immediate, on-site laser sessions will accelerate healing.
• Cost efficiency: Despite the significant initial investment, we will save hundreds of thousands in yearly session fees.
• Wider access: More animals can benefit without the high external costs.
• Community outreach: By having our own machine, we can extend help to strays and pets of low-income families.
