Laptops for Needy Highschoolers

Imagine unpaved roads, young students taking cabs to school every morning, zinc roofs easily whisked away with the hint of a tropical storm or hurricane - sometimes held down by cinder blocks.

Contrasted with that image is the strong drive to overcome these odds by striving to achieve their educational goals...2 young girls, taking that trek in a cab, their parents paying tuition for a "public" education.  These young ladies, however, have no access to a library or internet cafe after hours to use the computer.  This is where you come in...with your donation, I can start with just 2 young girls striving to succeed. 

We need your generosity and support for these 2 girls...then the next 2 girls...then the next.  But baby steps for now.

All the money you donate will go to allowing 2 high school students (initially) who couldn't otherwise afford it to complete their school work and have a chance at a life far superior than their humble beginnings would suggest.  This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need you. By contributing to purchase these laptops (just 2 at a time), you will:

• Connect in-need children with their future.
• Inspire students to dream big, set goals, and use the skills they learn to achieve them.
• Empower students with digital literacy skills that they need to succeed in school now and in their future.
