Laptop for college

Hi all! My name is Marcus and I just got accepted into my dream course at a local university. I will need a laptop to get me going when I’m in there as I will be bringing my work with me a lot.

Something along the ultrabook line is ideal as it is portable and powerful. The MacBook Pro comes to mind as it is very user friendly and reliable. I have never owned a MacBook before but ever since I used one in my previous workplace, I have always dreamed of getting one (but couldn’t afford it) as it was very snappy when it came to productivity.

I will mainly be using the machine for schoolwork, writing which I do on a freelance basis and hopefully film producing in the near future. It is my fear that I may not be able to keep up in school and with my peers if I don’t have the necessary tools and I humbly ask for help to acquire new tech to aid me in my future endeavours.
