Lamon’s Reach For A Dream

We saw this Mentor My ad, and decided to take a chance on my son, Lamon Davis, because he enjoys drama and because he did very well with Eisteddfods.

The biggest and most important reasons are because it is his dream, we believe in him and his ability to do excellent in drama.

We sent in his name and surname, whereupon we received the information and instruction that he should learn the words and then send a video to them.

However, I have no income and without help or assistance It will not be possible for Lamon to make his dream come true.

Mentor My

is a wonderful opportunity for young learners to gain knowledge of the

acting, by facilitators with experience in the television, theater and film industries.

Every month, 8 half-hour digital lessons will be sent to your child, two a week,

which can be viewed in the comfort of his or her home. The lessons will focus on a

monologue, play or self-written material that the learners must then prepare.

They will receive the material from their facilitator. Each month will also have specific

have themes that are focused on, whether character development, body work, voice work,

improvisation as well as the necessary information and knowledge for learners to do their own work

create / write.

The syllabus will be compiled and handled by Desiré Gardner. And the digital lessons

will be presented by Desiré and the facilitators. The learners will also

meet separate facilitator at a one-time workshop of 4 hours through the course

of the course (with restrictions in mind) .These venues will

mainly in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria. Share in Mpumalanga

(Nelspruit / Secunda / Witbank / Middelburg), North West (Rustenburg / Potchefstroom)

and the Free State (Bloemfontein) are also being considered, should there be a need in the

regions. The facilitators will handle their digital lessons themselves according to the theme for the

month which will then correspond to the digital lesson by Desiré Gardner. We

4 facilitators are actors with a lot of experience, knowledge and a passion for learners. Under

others Christel van den Bergh, Jeani Swiegelaar, Reynardt Hugo, Germandt

Geldenhuys etc.
