K&P Lawn Service – “Making the Joneses Keep Up With You!”

My name is Bill. A good friend of mine, Steven Kelso, and I are raising funds to get a small landscaping business off the ground....or would it be on the ground? Either way, we're just two younger guys with an old fashioned work ethic and a love for the outdoors. Currently, I work in a machine shop as a Surface Grinder and Wire E.D.M Technician. Seven works as a Maintenance Technician for an apartment complex here in Cuyahoga Falls. However, both of us have previously worked in landscaping, totaling 13 years of experience between us. Our goal is to establish K&P Lawn Service in our local community, primarily focusing on small to mid sized residential accounts. The company will operate as a "side job" in the beginning while working to grow it into a full-time business as time progresses. Our mission behind this campaign is to raise some of the funds necessary to purchase a work truck and trailer but we will also accept donations of lawn maintenance equipment from local donors. We have already begun purchasing some of the smaller equipment such as a push mower and a weed trimmer. Helping us reach our goal will enable us to do our part in preserving the beauty of our community while providing a service to those who can't, don't have the time, or would simply rather hire someone to handle their landscaping needs. Asking for help is not an easy thing to do but it is quite expensive to start a business, especially when you're starting with nothing. To anyone who decides to donate or help by sharing our campaign, expressing gratitude just isn't good enough so in return we will donate 10% of our first season's profits to another company's start-up campaign.
