KNOWMENOW:

KnowMeNow is a web and phone based application in development. We believe it will be regarded as the next quantum leap of social media, with new coined terms such as "The Dawn of Reality Social Media". 

What we saw as lacking in our current social media avenues such as twitter and facebook was the absence of real time communication. Let me explain. In our current standard of social media (facebook, twitter, blogs etc) communication is only possible mentally. In facebook you can check your news feeds and see what your friends are saying or in twitter you can follow different people and wait for them to post comments but there is no physical interaction. To solve this problem and to usher in the new and added standard of social networking we dreamed up the KnowMeNow app concept. 

The objective of KnowMeNow is to bring in reality to our social networking. Where ever you go, wether to get you car serviced or to have a cup of coffee, at the push of a button you will be able to see all the people around your physical vicinity And know a little bit about them. They guy infront of you could have his virtual bubble setup to say something like, hi my name is Mark Anderson (next to his photo) and I sell cars, text me if you are looking for a new car or the lady next to you could say " I am Elizabeth and I can do your taxes at a special discount". Every body will have the ability to change their virtual bubble as they desire, so at  a starbucks the girl that keeps eyeing you is at the push of a button away.  the app will allow people to break the ice in their real life in real time through their phone without any worries over rejection and will also allow poeple to know a little bit about each other in their present surroundings through their virtual bubble. Wow this means, we will be able to make new personal and bussiness connections in the course of our everyday life! from our real surroundings. Imagine the wonderfull impact this would have on social networking and the economy. It will be almost like we could let the world around our existence know about who we are, whats on our mind and what we are looking for.....ALL in real time!

Without giving away all the functionality secrets, the KnowMeNow app will interegate itself with other poplar social media apps so that we can immediatley capture a high volume of people, allowing users to see other users in their vicinity. The Knowmenow app has utilized sophosticated gps technology to make it possible for users to see each other. The app will allow inapp texting without giving up personal information unless mutually allowed. 

In short, we have looked at all the angles and researched/cured all possible structural(we think), user and privacy issues. We Have completed the wireframes and the programming is nearly complete.....so whats the problem? Every venture capatalist we speak to wants to fund the project but there is no end to their capatalistic greed. They all want more than 51% of the company! This gives them control over the company and control over its creativity. We believe this is just not right! So we decided this bold move of freedom. To lay it out there and see if our idea could get individual support as we hope in this case each drop will make us the river. And in turn maybe we could actually beat the system, maybe we could be allowed to be a force of good and create a true public company, not bound by the greed of the one percent.

The money we require to move forward is to completely pay off the contracted programmers and designers before we can launch and anything extra will be used to help marketing and promotions. The app is nearing completion and we do not want all our love, effort and investements to go to waste by giving into the slavery demands of the oppertunistic venture capatalists. 

We have a solid and noble idea. We have perfected it and envision a revolution in social media. We have struggled our way to make it this far and get this much accomplished. Please be a part of our vision and a part of our family. Our arms are open and our mutual love and respect will permanently go the distance.
