His my name is Ronald Mboniswa and from an informal Settlement called Kliptown in the South of Johannesburg in South Africa, Kliptown is a well-known Township in Johannesburg will a rich history, because a historic event was held in the forgotten Town, the Freedom Charter was drafted in Kliptown in 1955, by the Congress of the people, but the culture and the history is not preserved, and the community of this Historic place have given up hope,so that's why I've decided to initiate the campaign, and it's very important because we are now facing this pandemic called Covid 19 and the the place is a health hazard for us,we using the bucket system as toilets one toilet is being used by 5-7 families,so we don't have the means to buy sanitisers,to prevent infections, the place is a more like a dump site with furrows transporting dirty water to the river, and and what really kills me is the substance abuse the youth is subjecting themselves to, because unemployment is prevalent, teenage pregnancy is ,normalised. My plan is to create employment for the youth,we should clean and sanitise the place and gain livelihoods while at it,the funds are just to buy tools for cleaning and Sanitation products, and something to buy food and other needs. There other issue that's giving me sleepless nights is that since the pandemic started in South Africa Children of school going age haven't been going to school so they play in unsafe and unhealthy spaces,so some funds will go towards identifying and cleaning safe spaces to play in,and install a mini Library for them to study in and be safe,I hope my plea is heard and people will help me do something for the community especially children.
