Klara’s 30KM run – Birthday Fundraiser in aid of Hospice Malta

Klara said ''What better way to celebrate my 30th birthday with a 30KM run? I am planning this run as a fundraiser for Hospice and dedicate it to all who have made use of or are making use of its services! Hospice Malta, a registered voluntary organisation with the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (VO/0062), was founded in 1989 with the aim to provide and promote the highest standards of Palliative care.

Throughout the year, over 1,300 patients and their families benefit from Hospice Malta palliative care service in the community. The service is provided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals with the support of over 200 volunteers, to patients suffering from cancer, motor neuron disease (ALS), cardiac, respiratory, renal and liver diseases.
