We have two beautiful children that is suffering due to unforeseen circumstances. We lost everything due to my husband's retrenchment over a year ago. Finding a new job has been almost impossible and we're both now self employed working from home just to put food on the table. Been 9 months and we're still sleeping on a coutch, have no furniture. Just barely manage to pay rent, light and water and food. There is nothing left to save. My 8 and 13 year old stays home daily as we don't have funds to school them. Unfortunately my son can't be placed in a state school as he has tourettes syndrome that is causing him learning problems and he doesn't cope in a big class. Needs individual attention. The schools wouldn't assist us with my daughter when we couldn't pay and due to her being out of school for so long she has no latest reports. In order to get their homeschooling curriculum for the year we need at least R12000 and then I need to get my son to a neurologist for evaluation and possible treatment as well. We would like to just get a headstart....if they went to school daily we could work harder without the stress.
