Kicking Student Loans to the Curb

I graduated from college in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from South University. I'm very proud of my accomplishment but I had no idea just how much I cost me. I worked while in school full-time and sacrificed much. That's to be expected of someone who is ambitious enough to try again after one failed attempt at a higher education. However, I eventually realized the school I was attending was putting me in such a deep whole of debt that it would take years and years to get out it. But I was already invested in it. I had a couple quarters left and I would finally have that degree that my mother wanted me to have so badly. So I did it. I took the student loans and I paid for the classes and got my degree. Well now I'm working still in my field, like I should be, but the loans are killing any chance I have at having a normal life. I know there are thousands of other students who are in my position and its not right. I've been paying my bills on time and living by a budget but I want to have a family some day. I want to have a life that doesn't revolve around me paying ridiculous high student loans as a consequence for trying to better myself through education. As I mentioned before, I actually went to college once before but found that my priorities weren't what they should have been. When I started school again, I was determined to succeed. I struggled, fought for, and earned my degree. The$70000 in student loans was a slap to the face after working so hard to achieve my goal. Now, my new goal is to be free of them. There are over 300 million people in the United States of America. If 70000 people gave me a dollar I could reach my goal and regain the opportunity to live a normal life. That's what I'm asking for. I'm asking for whoever is willing to donate what you will. I'm not alone in this and something needs to be done to curb the way colleges and universities are extorting money out of students, the government, and ultimately the tax payers. I'm asking for help with this and I appreciate whatever is given. Thank you so much for reading.
