Our little Angel, Mia, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphblastic Leukeamia (ALL) on the 25th of January 2020. We were in hospital for 21 days and was discharged on Friday, the 14th of February 2020.

We have to under go chemotherapy 3 times a week for the forseeable future and the Medical Aid informed us that they will only partially cover the treatment and other costs of the practitioners.

My daughter's name is Mia Olivier, age 7 and we stay in Vereeniging, Gauteng, South Africa

We are raising funds to settle the medical expenses not covered by the Medical aid for the Chemo treatments. The medical aid only pays for a few treatments and limited expenses as the Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre and their related service providers do not fall within the Fedhealth network. This is the best Cancer treatment centre and we believe that she will make a full recovery. The doctors are very positive as one of them stated that she is the right age and she is female. We can just pray and believe that our little angel will be allowed to stay with us for a long time.

We will be able to pay all the helpful doctors and hospitals and be able to thank them for saving my daughters life.

All funds will be used to settle the medical expenses. should she be in remission and all expenses settled we will donate the remainder of the funds to CHOC, South Africa in order to assist other kids with the same financial needs
