Keeta needs your help

This is our baby girl (Keeta), she is 2 months away from turning 8 years old and she really needs your help. One day Keeta was vomiting non stop and she did not want to move at all, every time she went to lay down she would get right back up (she slept sitting up). We do not have emergency care close to where we live so Keeta had to go the weekend feeling like this. We took her to the vet right away Monday morning ( Glacial ridge vet clinic in Glenwood, MN) and they ended up keeping her there for 2 nights and 3 days while they did testing and treatments on her. The vet told us that she is a very ill girl. Keeta has liver disease and a very low thyroid. Her liver is very enlarged and her blood work was all over the charts. Keeta is now home and is still very weak and lays around but she is doing better. She is on 3 types of medication for her liver and she has to go to the vet 2 times a week for laser treatment to jump start her liver and other organs. Keeta is a HUGE part of our family, she is the most loving and gentle dog you will ever meet. Keeta means the whole world to my kids and I (single mom), we have had her since she was 6-7 weeks old and she is a joy to have around. Keeta needs your help so she can stay on her treatments. The vet bill keeps rising every week due to treatment. Right now it is $1,800.00 and rising. We will be forever grateful for any help we can get and you will be in our hearts and prayers forever, it means the world to us to get Keeta better.
