Keeping Family Together

I know this will probably be a joke for most members of our community but over in our guild we have decided to start a charity event basically adopting a local family in our area and trying to help them out this holiday season. I have been told by regular people; that people that play World of Warcraft don't care about other people and that Gamers are selfish and only care about themselves, that they are ignorant and only really care about getting gold for pixels, fighting over loot, and killing each other over a stupid game. I don't believe that for a minute. Not here we have awesome members here on Velen on both sides and I have seen it many times. I have walked by and seen an alliance player in trouble and helped them out just because or thought I was a goner and out of no where a dwarf helped me. I know all of you are pretty awesome. We over at Pride of The Horde have chosen a family to adopt this holiday season. I was hoping that maybe other members of Velen would do the same. Even if it is helping out a local shelter or giving food to the poor anything to show the world that the World of Warcraft community rocks all around that we do care about everything. I just figured that for all the hardship going on in this country of ours we can set down our keyboard and mouse for a couple hours a day to help out a family in need. Just a thought and I know I will get trolled for this but at least it will be seen. Thanks all for taking the time to read hugs to all.
