Campaign Story
Our friend Kaye Palmer is a friendly, loving. generous person. She has been diagnosed with 2 tumours 1 on the upper vertebrae of her spine and 1 on her brain. The most serious one on her spine is life threatening and must be operated on immediately. It is unknown at this time whether the tumours are cancerous, however the spinal one has grown and is threatening paralysis, a stroke or indeed her life.
Kaye is a very proud person and it is difficult for her to ask for help so we are doing it for her.
Kaye works as a carer in the UK and a damned good one ! She is often requested to go back and care for the same client many times over. However the last 18 months has found her stuck in Turkey unable to work due to COVID and now her deteriorating condition . She is now without income and her own savings have already been used. Already she has spent over £2500 on tests and hospital visits.
Kaye now needs to travel to Istanbul for neurosurgery. Her insurance in Turkey will not pay for this and the hospital will not proceed without payment and time is of the essence. The cost of this first surgery is £12000.
We are making this fundraising request so that Kaye`s many friends can help her. We also welcome support from those who not know Kaye.
