Hey there!

In September of this year, I'll be venturing off to India for 3 months (wahoo!) with an organisation called Global Vision International (you can check them out here - http://www.gvi.co.uk/volunteer-abroad). GVI are an amazing team of people dedicated to conservation work and community development all over  the world and I would love it if you could help me be a part of that.

The project I will be helping out with in India is an arts and childcare program, encouraging underpriviledged children to explore and develop their creative skills. This is a really important project as, without it, the children don't get the opportunity to experience this type of learning which I feel is really fundamental to their overall development. I mean, where would we all be without books, artwork, drama and dance?! Well, we'd all be a lot more miserable, that I can tell ya.

Check out this page for more details about the project - http://www.gvi.co.uk/programs/arts-and-childcare-volunteering-india

Now, if the arts aren't something you feel are worth supporting (boo...) maybe you want to support me in my second quest! Next February, I will again be working with GVI but this time in Pokhara, Nepal. I'll be spending 5 months working in an orphanage undertaking tasks such as getting the children ready for school, teaching English, providing support to both children and local teachers and just generally being an extra pair of desperately needed hands! More information here - http://www.gvi.co.uk/programs/volunteer-orphanage-nepal

Your money will be funding my ability to partake in these crucial projects and maybe just making a few lives that little bit easier during my stay!

Even if you can just spare a few pennies, it would mean the absolute world to me and I'd be eternally grateful.

Thank you!
