Katies Volunteering trip to Bali

July 2019 I will be Travelling to Bali for three weeks. During my stay in Bali I will be volunteering to work and teach with kids ages 4-9 years. I will gain experience from teaching but will also be able to see how things are in Bali compared to the UK. The Bali experience will be seen as being challenging at times due to the standards of facilities and the way things work. It will be a big eye opener for me but hugely rewarding and enjoyable as well. When in Bali I will be helping with the local kinder garden/ childcare centre which is known to be called "Asaka kinder garden." with around 20 children who attend there from ages 3-4. When working here my roles will be to interact with the children, keeping them entertained but also teaching them the basic English, life and social skills. I have always had a huge interest when it comes to working and helping children and travelling so this would be an amazing opportunity for me. I want to challenge myself by getting involved with as many things as I can and learn as much as possible for the future. I am hoping to fund raise money and anything given would be much appreciated.
