Kathy 2017 Birthday Silent Retreat

My dearest buddies,

Back then when I was still 18-year-old, I looked forward to my birthday each year. Ever since I passed 25-year-old, I wished my clock could tick slower (or stop ticking...haha). But I know this wish would never come true, LOL.

Whilst I was still in the State (the days when I was still in NYC/NJ) , I started celebrating each of my birthday with Christ by spending day/days for silent retreat. To me, there is no other better way to celebrate my date of birth than to spend it with my creator (ONLY HIM)! So, needless to say, I am doing the same thing this year again. Yeah! Looking forward to it....

Originally, I was planning to join the 8-days silent retreat workshop at Xavier House. However, I received a call from them and I am on their wait list =( Therefore, I am still unsure where I will end up being this year...may be @ HK retreat house or China...depends.

Thank you very much for always celebrating my birthday with me, or even bringing me out for nice meals or buying me thoughtful gifts. \ (^_^ ) / This year, instead of celebrating in ways we did before, I am inviting you to support my silent retreat financially instead. Therefore, if you don't mind, we shall still do our normal bday gathering, but split bills and without gifts this time. Heehee =) NO PRESSURE though! Just feel free to do whatever you feel like doing.
