Jun’s Battle Against Cancer

This fundraiser is set up to help the cost of medical expenses for Eldigardo Sauro Jr. (Jun) who is now battling Cancer.

Eldigardo Jr. came from a family of 5, with 2 siblings and him as the youngest. The Sauro siblings Elsa, Roel and Jun started their academics at Infant Jesus Academy where they developed dreams and turned them into their realities. Jun, as his friends and family know him, successfully became a licensed mechanical engineer. Today, he has his own family with 2 daughters who are already in senior highschool and college. It was a pleasant and peaceful life until everything came to halt when he was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer this January 2021, finding tumors within his digestive tract. He was advised to go through 3 cycles of chemotherapy first to observe his body's response to the medicine. Unfortunately, after the said cycle, instead of the supposed effect of the chemo meds, the tumors only got worse. The tumors in his liver, stomach and esophagus increased in size (about 27%) . Now, he needs to be confined for IV chemotherapy to address the tumors that grew. He will go through 6 sessions of Intravenous chemotherapy, twice a week for 3 months.
