Junius Home Solutions Making Housing Affordable For The Masses

I want to start a company which I call Junius Home Solutions. I chose the name because Junius, whomever he/she/they were, was a champion of the people and let them know their rights and spoke to and for common folk who didn't have a voice at the time. I have been in this situation before and one of the hardest things to secure is also something that should be seen as a basic human right, housing. I have a plan to make housing affordable for the masses. I want to start in a place that is in need revitalization and have had friends tell me of homes left empty and why not put people in these houses.I want to start in Niagara Falls,NY and then take my plan nationwide. I plan to offer a way that people can enter home ownership regardless of their credit history and being low income should not bar you from home ownership. I plan to fix the properties, providing employment to local contractors and general labor force, and put people in these houses rent to own. When I say rent to own I don't mean in the traditional way that sets people up to fail. Usually rent to own is a legal scam. People get into the properties, pay the rent and are often expected to come up with a loan or the rest of the money to buy the house after one year. Though the rental contract can be extended, often for a price, most people fail to come up with the money and a new rent to own tenant/owner is placed in the home, they will most likely fail too. I want to set people to succeed. It doesn't matter what job you have or how much you get paid. Every job has it's importance and low income people's work is not less important and these people need a hand up, not a hand out and that is what I want to give them. I intend to charge no more than 1/3 of a families' income as rent so there is plenty of income left for necessities and have a contract that is for as long as it takes to pay it off or 5/10 year length depending on the situation. I believe that poor people can pay their debts and need a chance to succeed. This is what I want to give them. I believe in a world that is fair and just, where people are given a chance to be happy and have a roof over their head that won't deprive them of a life in which they can enjoy it and are not constantly in fear of homelessness. Please help me get Junius Home Solutions off the ground.
