Hi! My name is Noah. I'm normally a shy and quiet 11 year old kid, but when I'm running I come alive. I LOVE to run! It is my dream to be a medalist in the 2024 World Olympics. Competing in the Junior Olympics is a step on my path to being a World Olympian. This July I will be making my 2nd appearance at this national event. I am raising money to get there and I would really like your help.
I am a nationally ranked member of the Vegas Speed Track Club - USA Track & Field (USATF) youth team. I train 2 hours a day, 5 days a week and my hard work has paid off. Last year I participated in the 2013 Junior Olympics in in Greensboro, North Carolina competing in the 800 meter run, 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay. Placing 6th in the 4x100 and getting the bronze in the 4x400 in the entire nation was an awesome experience and I’m looking forward to doing it again! This year I have qualified for 1500 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay.
The 2014 Junior Olympics is in Houston, Texas July 21st – 27th. Paying for the entry fee, a plane ticket from Las Vegas, hotel, food and transportation during the stay is expensive. I’m trying to raise $3500 to cover my costs and would greatly appreciate your contribution. The Vegas Speed Track Club is a non-profit organization; therefore your donations are tax deductible (receipts will be provided).
Even if you can't give money, I would appreciate your prayers and cheers wherever you are, while I reach for my dream of being a future Olympian!
