Journey Thru Grief

In December, 2006, I lost my 16-year old daughter to suicide. Through my grief process I have learned that there are many parents like myself who suffer immensely....not only to the loss of a child but, the loss of a child surrounded by the stigma of suicide. We can't feel comfortable talking to people about it because there is always a fear of damnation or perceived guilt.

I want to help other parents know that they aren't alone. I want them to know that their grief process is normal. Their child was a profound loss and should carry any less weight than a parent who doesn't lose their child to suicide.

My goal for this fundraiser is to self publish a book about my experiences and my journey through grief. This is the next step from my website that I already created a year ago www.journeythrugrief.com. Please help me promote my book and get it into the hands of people who desperately need it.
