Campaign Story
Meet Josiah and Dean--two sweet, young cats rescued from the streets and no doubt that they were someone's pet at one point. Possibly abandoned--they were left to fend for themselves. Both boys are suffering from a very painful mouth condition called stomatitis. This condition results in inflammation and ulcers in their mouth. The cat will scream in pain when attempting to eat or drink. Many oral treatments provide temporary and partial relief, but it's difficult to administer oral medications to a cat with this painful mouth condition. Teeth removal is 85% successful. However, it should be done by a vet with specialty training and experience in dentistry since no part of the tooth can be left.
Surgery is estimated at $1,000.00 per cat. Josiah has been able to raise $350.00 to date on his GoFund Me. No donation is too small and a tax receipt can be provided at your request. Dean will remain a resident of SCOOP, Inc. and Josiah will continue to be in the care of a SCOOP volunteer. Thank you for your support!

Prayers for the babies to get well soon. My baby Pierre went through a tough battle with this. He is so much better and happier now, he had all of his teeth pulled.
