Jonny – victim of a vicious dog attack

Update posted by Louise Avery On Oct 06, 2014

We wish to thank everyone who has donated, so very, very much it is so appreciated. This has been such a terrible time and Jonny sadly died in the end. The vets bills were nearly £3000 but Jonny was so deeply loved by all that there was no alternative for us but to do everything we could to try to help him.

The dog's owner came forward (sorry we are unable to change the main write up) and has agreed to contribute half of the vets bills when she can so any further help would be so amazing, thank you!

Hope our donation helps to get Jonny well again. I blame the owner more than the dog, he should be made to pay for all the vet treatment and have his leg amputated without anaesthetic. The dog has probably encouraged to do this sort of thing by dickless knuckledragger, could be any breed but the Staffie is always keen to ingratiate himself to his owner and has extremely strong jaws. get well soon Jonny x
