Jin’s College Fund

I am trying to gather funds for one of my best and brightest students to be able to attend college.  I have worked as Jin's school counselor for the past 7 years and have never encountered such an bright and promising young person in all my years in education.  Jin has maintained a 4.7 GPA is valedictorian of her graduating class and scored a 32 on her ACT.  Aside from her academic accomplishments, Jin is a compassionate and well grounded young person. 

During Jin's college search she was informed by her parents that she was not a US citizen and has no green card.  Due to her circumstances, Jin is not eligible for any financial aid and exempt from many of the large scholarships, she should be entitled to for her academic achievements.  Jin as worked ardously and is now in a position where attending a university may not be possible.  If you could donate, even the smallest amount, it will help Jin be able to pay tuition with the hope that immigration reform will someday make it possible for her to receive financial aid/ and schloraships.  Jin is currently in deferred action and has taken all the legal steps to become a permanent resident.  Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
