Hi my names Jim Byrne and I love my food but i love my girlfriend more and I intend to lose two stone over the next two months to be able to buy a stairlift for Ruths home .

She has applied for grants but been turned down so we have obtained some quotes and the cheapest was 2k.

Ruth is very disabled,she is unable to sit at all and walking causes her great pain, sadly her cancer returned and is uncurable it is living in her S2 nerve and presses against her spine.

But regardless of this she carrys on bringing up her son and doing everything she can to keep a happy normal life for him.

Ruths kept alive by Chemotherapy and thankfully after 17 rounds her condition is stable,I just want her to have as comfortable life as possible while she is still with us.

Over the past two years i have watched her go through hell,not only was she fobbed off by Doctors with ibs and food intolerance but she then endured failure at diagnosis resulting in many operations and treatment,heartbreak after heartbreak but in all this she has done everything she can to help others and raise awarness of this crap disease.
