Hello everyone, next summer after I (hopefully) graduate university, I'm jetting off to South Africa to work with the Kariega Wildlife Reserve and Farmerfield School. I'll be there in for two weeks in August/September 2017.
Whilst in SA, I'll be assisting with the conservation of some of the world's most endangered animals, as well as teaching the children from Farmerfield some English.
Both Kariega Wildlife Reserve and Farmerfield school are in desperate need of supplies to keep them running. It is my hope that I can raise the funds to gather the things they need to take with me when I go to South Africa and make just that little bit of a difference.
Things both the places I'll be volunteering at need include things like:
- Coloured pencils
- English Dictionaries
- Tennis/"Soccer" balls
The money raised will go directly towards purchasing an array of these things and getting them to South Africa with me, and I'll make sure to send you all plenty photos of the difference it's making! If any of you would rather give me the supplies directly rather than giving me the funds, please feel free to let me know, I would be just as grateful for a donation of that kind.
As well as fundraising online, I'll also be doing a couple of different things offline around university and in the local area to raise the funds I'll need to make this happen. Anything any of you can spare will be appreciated enormously whether it's £1 or £10.
If anyone would like further information, this is the programme I'm a part of:
Thank you everyone in advance, for your generosity. X
