Hello everyone!

First, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to review my campaign for this unforgettable, amazing opportunity I've been blessed with. Secondly, I'd like to give you a little more information about why I'm pursuing this opportunity and how you can help. Currently, I'm a starting senior at Armwood High School. I was nominated for the Student Athlete World USA program and before being selected I went through an interview process. Due to my current skill set, work ethic, and dedication I was accepted into the program! I'm very excited to have been introduced and selected for this program and I am looking forward to the awesome experience of not only traveling to Costa Rica but more importantly traveling to Costa Rica to do what I love most - play basketball! This tour is going to bring forth so much more opportunity for me prior to and during my college career.

However, in order for me to get there I need all the help I can get from family and friends! In advance, thank you for any and all blessings; there are none too small, everything helps.

Before you leave, please read a kind word from my current, high school basketball coach:

During the basketball season the core values of the basketball program were commitment, work ethic and attitude. Jamal went above and beyond exemplifying each of these values. Jamal never missed a workout or practice, he showed up early and stayed late and even came to optional workouts. At the conclusion of the year Jamal was presented with an award of being the most committed player on the team. Jamal was also one of the hardest workers on the team, he practiced daily and strenuously, this led to Jamal also being one of the most improved players on the team. Finally, Jamals attitude was one of the best all around, he came in with a positive attitude ready to work and get better. Jamal accepts criticism very well, listens to the coaches, and applies the gameplan as best as possible.
