Jaco’s rehab recovery fund

Jaco (a close family member) has been addicted to Heroin for +/-18 years.

It all started when he got into a life threatening accident at the age of 14 years. He was on the brink of death after a car hit him at 120km/h while he was on a bicycle. His leg was crushed and the doctors wanted to amputate, but my mother refused. The other injures he had was a cracked skull, burst eardrum and broken hips. He made a full recovery, although he doesn't have full use of his leg anymore.

Alter this accident he started using Heroin for the pain relief it gave. He was in so much pain not even morphine helped.

His mother is a single parent for +/-24 years now and had to raise us without getting any money from my father. Jaco has never had a father figure to look up to.

Since he cannot keep a job because of his addiction, he has been homeless on and off. Currently he is begging for money at the robots to pay for his drug habit.

He finally admitted he needed help after 18 years. The problem is the only rehab that wants to help and where there is space available (with an excellent success rate) is more than what my mother can afford to pay. His mother is currently on pension (she is a full time evangelist) and I am the only breadwinner.

We need to pay a deposit of R8,500 and a monthly fee of R2,500.

He cannot continue going on like this and his mother cannot handle the stress anymore.

Will you please consider giving any amount of money possible? He has so much potential if someone would just like to help him get back to normal.
