SIMI VALLEY MISSING PETS NEEDS YOUR HELP Meet JACKY! JACKY was rescued from the Bakersfield Shelter on Feb 20th with severe Cherry Eye. For him being only 3 months old, this is a very advanced case and is already affecting his eye site.  In older dogs, Cherry Eye can be harmless, if not advanced, and just bothersome.  That is not the case with this puppy. Jacky's eyes will just get worse as she grows and it can even damage the corneas. Jacky is now old enough to have this surgery and the time is now! The surgery that will be performed is more complicated than the traditional method and has a much higher success rate of it not returning. Once Jacky has his surgery she will be up for adoption and is expected to have a long and happy life with no sight problems!
