Izizwe Projects – Support our Holiday Programs!

Due to the economic circumstances of the township, most children remain on the streets during school vacation. To provide a safe and fun environment Izizwe Projects offers Holiday Programs which vary from 2 to 3 weeks in duration depending on how long the school breaks are. Holiday Programs are provided 4 times a year and is always well attended by 200 to 350 children.

Our program gives the kids the opportunity to develop their talents and skills in sports-, arts & crafts-, dancing- and fun & games stations. A talent show on the last day is something all the kids love! ! At the end of each day we offer the children a small lunch and cool drink, which is sometimes the only meal they get on that day, so they can go home safe and sound.

Your donations are very important to us and will help us to continue offering our holiday programs for the children of Walmer Township. Donations will be used for food, cool drinks, rent of the venue and materials like face paint, sports equipment, arts and crafts items and much more!
