IVF Fundraiser

Jim and I have been trying to start our biological famiy for almost seven years. As many of you know, it has been hard journey. Looking at our options, almost four years ago we decided to try adoption through the foster system in Wisconsin. We were blessed to have been placed with two beautiful children whom all of our friends and family grew to love and welcomed into their hearts as though they were our own children. After being a family of four for almost two years, our beautiful babies were sent back to live with their biological parents. It was the most devestating time of our lives. God, however, is AMAZING, and just when we thought our hearts and home would be empty, He sent us our BEAUTIFUL son, Hunter. Hunter was a safe-haven baby, meaning that his biological mother gave birth to him and left him at the hospital. We were blessed to be able to to bring Hunter home, and on January 25, 2013, adopted him officially into our family. We are now at another crossroad in our life as we want desperately to give Hunter a brother or a sister. In examining our options, we have chosen the route of doing IVF in hopes of having a biological child of our own. As we are not gamblers, we have decided to pursue the shared rist program at our clinic, which will allow us to get 70% of our money back should we not be successful and bring home a baby.
