hi everybody, I'm here to ask for your help and support in way of donations so that myself and partner can try ivf and hopefully have a little bundle of joy to call our own.

A little about us, we met in march 2007, towards the end of that year I began having tests for PCOS, and found out that I had this condition. From then my monthly cycle was very much non exsistant most months. After lots of tests my go referred me to the local nhs hospital and we began other tests this took several years but we continued to try for our own baby.

In 2012 we began tests on my partner and found that there was problems with him also. We were offered the chance of doing ivf and as most people in our situation we snapped their hands off. So in October 2012 we started the process and had to self inject at home for several weeks, we attended hospital for many appointments and had our egg retrieval on the day I was meant to graduate 4th December. I had 16 eggs retrieved and 9 fertilized. Only 5 made it and I had 2 day five embrios transfered back on the 9th December. I took it easy for the next week or so and my partner looked after me very well. I then had my hcg levels checked by blood test and were told that my level wad 22.....we were pregnant but the doctors had bad news, the numbers were lower than what they should be.

Me and my partner willed our embrios to grow but unfortunately they didn't and on the 21st December I began to bleed. We lost what we hoped and prayed would be our little miracle.

We sat in silence most of they day only breaking the silence with our tears.

Christmas was hard that year and we never stop thinking what could have been.

In January 2013 we returned to the hospital to look at what to do next, as we walked into the room with the doctor she said..."if you want to try again it will cost £4,500", no explanation first and no other treatments discussed. she then told us that my eggs had been distroyed rather than frozen (we were told that they would be frozen for one year when we started the ivf process) this was another blow and we left feeling helpless. We work all the hours possible but can not afford this amount of money for our dream.

We would be enternally greatful for any help no matter how  little. We appreciate that there are other fundrasing causes that are more important to people. But we only have this option left to try. Many thanks and best wishes.
