What happened?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
What do you want to do against it?
I've made a mobile application in my free time, but in order to make it work (licenses, server costs), I must finance it from my personal expense, but I don't have that much money.
In a nutshell, iTransmit is a community-powered virus outbreak area identifier that is based on voluntarily sent anonymous reports from the users.
How could I leverage it?
1. Tap on the symptoms you experience on yourself
2. You'll be visible on a live map, where you and others can see the infectious areas
3. If you have a symptom and you stroll around the city, you'll mark your path you walked. When someone crosses your path, she or he will receive a push notification to take more care. On the other hand, you'll be notified too in the other way around.
So again, why I need money?
The application depends on other applications (for developers: packages) to be able to work. One of these dependencies is paid (Flutter Background Geolocation) and the standard license costs $329. On the other hand, the app will have operation costs and I can't afford to finance by personal expense, therefore I need your help, so I can help you.
If there'll be more money than needed, I give the rest to the Hungarian Red Cross charity fund (http://voroskereszt.hu/adomanyozas/kampany-tamogatasa/felkeszules-a-koronavirus-ellen/).
