Campaign Story
hello
as you all know a couple months back i lost my best friend and dad Louie. he passed away from lung cancer. it took us all by surprise of course who expects to hear you have 3 months to live! what do you do what do you say? you walk in feeling okay you walk out hearing this "you have terminal cancer" after that day it seemed like overnight Lou went downhill fast. how do you prepare to lose someone you love so much. my mom lost her husband we lost a dad. you are never prepared to deal with this in such little time too.
my family has also lost thier moms to this terrible disease we call cancer. its not fair that they dont get to see thier grandchildren grow up or other special life events. one thing this has done is bring my family alot closer because of the common bond we all have. its a wonderful thing to have.
so in honor of mothers day i would like to raise money for our family and other families who try to prepare for this almost overnight disease that hit us hard. we will miss Lou who always had a smile no matter what and my relatives aunts and uncles that we lost to cancer. i myself am a survivor of cervical cancer stage 3 been cancer free for 13 years.
so any donation is never to small thank you.

I wish no one had to suffer this horrible disease but as we all know most of us have been affected. Fortunately I have survived having suffered from CML (chronic myeloid leukaemia). Losing someone you love is heart breaking and may be one day they will find a cure.

I truly understand how hard it is to lose a parent. I feel strongly that Lou and mom are exchanging great stories about your mom. xoxo
