Volunteering in San Diego 4th-18th July 2022
Hi! My name is Clara! I'm 18 years old from England, and I'm planning to join up with IVHQ's volunteering scheme to help the community all the way in San Diego!
The Volunteering will include helping those in poverty, which is unfortunately a substantial issue in central San Diego. I will be staying there for two weeks, where I will be travelling solo (for the first time) and join many other volunteers in hopes to make a difference.
Helping the community and experiencing different culture will help me understand their circumstances directly.
This funding will help me achieve this, by helping me afford travel insurance, food, and other essentials. Any donation is appreciated so much! I'm hoping this volunteering will give me independence and help me with Law school which I'm heading off to September this year! This Volunteering also links in with my particular passion for International Human Rights Law, which, has come to fruition during COVID-19 and is more crucial than ever.
