In the current uncertainty of the events industry, and with festivals that we'd normally take The Something Else Tea Tent to now postponing til 2022, income from which heavily fund our own events and existence (it's likely going to leave us around £5k down), we need to do something to stop us spiralling back into the debt SE is almost out of and so we can put our events on with piece of mind..so I'm going for a very long walk.

Starting at Avebury on the 4th or 5th of May, and potentially ending at Knettishall Heath, I'm planning on walking what's known as the oldest road in Britain - The Ridgeway and Icknield Way. How much of it I do is up to you, as I'll do a mile for every £10 raised, up to the 200 miles or so of the walk.

There is a small chance I'll have to go back and finish the last bit depending on progress, due to having friends cat and house sitting. but hopefully that won't be the case. I love walking, and regularly bimble around the Forest of Dean, where I live, for 5 or 10 miles at a time, but I've never done anything like this before. I am dizzily excited and stupidly nervous all at once.

I won't be camping and am currently taking up offers from friends who live en route to put me up each night.

If anyone I know wants to join me for any of it, feel free to get in touch. I'll obviously be posting photos and videos each day, too.

Thank you for your support!

..but I do, because anything more in such a short period would be ridiculous. It does mean that we've raised the minimum I was willing to do it for though..so thank you..I think! :DIdeally, we'll at least double the figure, so please keep sharing, and donating if you can. Your
