I want to go to College

I am 28 years old living in Singapore. I am also a type 1 diabetic.

I would love to go back to school to be able to study to become a social worker. After high school I had to stop halfway through college as we just did not have any money and so I went out to work.

But now I am trapped in a cycle of not being able to save up money for my education due to the fact that I don't have higher education and so can only get minimum wage jobs, the only way to get out of that cycle is to study.

My medical expenses are about $400 a month despite having heavy subsidies for my medical supplies. These are necessities and I cant cut back on them in order to save up.

Right now its me and my mum who is unable to work due to health problems. Im trying to find sponsorships and charities to help pay for education but I don't qualify for the ones I have found.

I want to be a social worker in order to help others who are in situations like I am in now. Help them get back on their feet but I can only do that through education and getting on my feet.
