Helllo! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I am a mother of three who is a self taught seamstress and designer. I have been working locally in my area for 5 years now and earlier this year I registered with the state of Ohio and turned my hustle into a legit business. I have taken classes at the small business development center and I am doing everything I can to work on getting funding to open a brick and motor in central Columbus; the area is specifically known as the Short North. There you will find a slew of boutiques selling apparel, bags and accessories to fine art, restaurants, and entertainment. This location is always populated with locals and tourist that come to the states capital. I did a thorough market research survey along with scoping out surrounding businesses, and no one is offering what the customers need, which is what my shop will offer, a one stop shopping experience that will offer alterations, custom designs, sign and wall decals, graphic design, screen printing/heat press/DTG, and my very own custom manufactured designs. I also bring diversity to the area because there are not many, if any, African American owned businesses in that area. With your support I will be able to create jobs, offer my expertise and provide a new business that can be used for generations to come.
