I long to have the sense of smell again

My name is Byron Boshoff, I'm 31 years old and I've been afflicted with nasal polyps,

They are non-cancerous growths that block the sinus and have caused me to lose all sense of smell, has left me with basic senses of taste and I have a constant benzine/petroleum taste in my mouth.

I have tried all other non-invasive methods of treating them to no avail and surgery is now my only option to finally rid myself of this nightmare.

Living in a world that has no flavor or aroma takes it's toll on a person, food is just fuel to survive and I have forgotten the smell of the rain, fresh cut lawn in the summer and the taste of a flame grilled steak, I have to be extra cautious as I cannot smell smoke or gas leaks.

This surgery will bring my sense of smell and taste back and afford me opportunities to a better quality of life.
