Please allow me to share a touching story with you.

I fell in love with an ambitious, sincere, loyal and passionate man - my husband. His name is Tatenda.

Tatenda is a final year pilot student at Eagle Air Pilot school in Pretoria, South Africa. He is originally from Zimbabwe and came to RSA to study in 2012.

He completed his Biotechnology Diploma at VUT. In 2015 he began his long journey to persue his dream, flying.

Why pilot you may ask? It has been his passion since he was young boy. His deceased father was a pilot engineer at Air Zimbabwe and he used to take young Tatenda with him to the airport. That's when his fascination for planes began.

Tatendas mother has been paying for his tuition, she is a single parent. Unfortunately due to chronic illness she was hospitalized for 6 months last year 2019 and her income took a knock. She had to spend her savings on hospital bills.

As she was busy recovering her business this year another tragedy truck, COVID 19. She has not been operating as she runs a non-essential business. This has resulted in more delays towards the completion of Tatendas education.

Tatenda is currently working at the airport to pay his own rent and survive. He has been applying for numerous bursaries and scholarships with no luck as institutions in RSA do not fund foreign students.

To date he needs 38 hours to complete his qualification. Each flight session costs R2500 - R2800.

Please help me help my best friend live his dream and make his parents proud. He tells me every day that he just wants to fly. I see the passion and determination in his eyes and I know given the opportunity he will do great things.
