Many Africans still remain in abject poverty despite gaining independence and political freedom. To this day many African kids still wake up at cockcrow and walk long distances to school. A part of this journey involves these little boys and girls crossing rivers to reach their destination.
This is an initiative to raise money to buy school buses for the villages still facing this crisis. A number of kids have drowned or gone missing on their way to school.
Dr Martin Luther King Jr once said I have a dream. To this day that dream still lives on. Most of these kids are told education is the key to success and therefore their parents send them to school with hopes that one day they will use that key to better their lives and the conditions back at home. It is a risk they have to take everyday, knowing there is a high probability of their kids not making it back home safe and sound.
Let us give these kids future a spark of hope. Your donation will not only open doors of education for these kids but will also save lives.
