When raising a child with Autism, you can expect to spend, on average, an extra $25,000 per year in medical costs. Families living with a member with Autism have a very difficult time paying for all of the child's needs. Parents often lose their jobs because daycares cannot "handle" their child, and the parent has to leave work often to pick up the child. Autism affects 1 in 88 children, which is a 78% increase in the last decade. With Autism prevalence sky-rocketing, you would think that private funding would be increasing as well. That is not the case. In fact, out of several juvenile disabilities such as: Leukemia, muscular dystrophy, pediatric aids, and juvenile diabetes; Autism is the most prevalent, but the least funded. See the chart below. Our mission at the I AM foundation is to help these children be all that they can be. We want to improve their lives through the use of natural medicine. We want to support these families both mentally and financially. Raising a child is hard, raising a child with Autism takes a very special person. Please join us in touching the lives of families all over the world. Any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made via phone, online, or by mail. For more information please contact us at [email protected] or 423-779-8822.
