hi guys. So here is Bernadene Etter story.

I met Che Etter in March 2017. We instantly clicked. We used to have numerous chats till late at the wall and did things neighbours did. We shared so much love for bikes and cars and often spent our Saturdays washing our cars. I would pass the hosepipe over the wall and he would wash his while I chatted away. I would then wash mine and he would chat my ears warm.

Che had an unbelievable love for the Kawasaki Ninja. He would ride every single Sunday from East london to Kei Mouth and back. This was his outlet.

One Saturday, in October 2017, he greeted me at the wall, and went off on his bike ride. I didn't understand why he was going on a Saturday instead of a Sunday.

I received a message an hour later that he had sadly passed away about 7km from kei mouth. He lost control and collided with a cement mile marker. He lost his life doing what he loved.

The emotional distress was unbelievable. I had lost someone I really formed a bond with in a few short months. I felt horrible. I tried to be there for the family as much as I could. He was 39 years old.

He left behind a loving wife, of nearly 3 years, two sons and a daughter. Connor is 13, Bryce is 6 and Mia is 5. These kids have lost a big part of their lives, a role that could never be filled by anyone else.

Sadly Bernadene has been left as the sole bread winner. School fees, bond of the house, food, cleaner, petrol and the expensive cost of BCM etc. She makes it work but there is still a major shortage. I feel if 300000 people each gave just R1, we could make this widows life a lot easier.

Each person that donates will be changing the lives of 4 fantastic people. The last thing I want is for her to lose the house that Che worked so hard for to give to his family.

Thank you so much for reading this. If you cannot donate, please share the story. Bernadene is the sole beneficiary of this and nobody else will be entitled to the money.

Best regards
