HCQ is an experiment to see how charitable humans from around the world are. This will be a 12-month long experiment, where at the end, I will make public which countries are the least reluctant to donate a very small amount of money purely for the sake of giving. The money raised will go to a good cause, in which, I would like the donating individuals to suggest an organization. Whichever receives the most votes, will be the one I donate to.
A little background behind the project… I recently had a conversation with a friend, while roasting marshmallows around a campfire, about kindness in humans. His opinion is much more optimistic than mine. He believe that people are generally kind-hearted. I, on the other hand, feel that people are more interested in themselves and usually pass at the opportunity to donate. So, I decided to start this charity experiment. I figure, if it raises money, then I was proven wrong and money goes to charity. Winning situation. And if it doesn’t raise money, I at least won the argument between me and my friend!
People usually support what they value and believe in. So, if you believe in charity for good cause, your donation of 50 cents will be well spent.
